First Time Setup

Run-through of the initial Setup for LUX Walker

Check that you meet the basic requirements before you get started with your  first time setup

In order to use LUX Walker and LUX Navigate you will need:

  1. High-end PC to run the software and to support a virtual reality headset (optional). See our recommended system requirements.
  2. If you want to use VR you will need a Virtual reality headset. Read our tips on which VR HMD to get
  3. LUX Walker and/or LUX Navigate software downloaded and installed – View LUX Walker ‘getting started‘.  View LUX Navigate ‘getting started’
  4. An export of a 3D file (.obj file) using one of our supported plugins (Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Blender) or some 360 Content.

*Please note that LUX Walker and LUX Navigate is a Windows based software and does not yet run on Mac OS. We are currently working on it.
